Hàllo!
Last summer, iam waiting at a red light, the light turn green, I start and I hear something like a "STACK!" or "STOCK!" or "CRACK-i-Di-POW!" coming from the rear wheel... a minute later I notice my rear wheel isn't rolling straight, there's a big rattle/twist on it.The repair shop fixed it at the beggining of the current season. But you know what? Same thing happend today when I was climbing a hill... My rear wheel is twisted again... after a "STACK!" sound.
Both time, it happend when I was pushing really hard on the pedals... with my 190lvb of weight.
I think i need a SOLID bike that can take a big force without twisting and folding and deformed under my force+weight.
My bike is standard NORCO hybrid bike... i paid like 450$ for it in 2007.
ANY SUGGESTSHIONS?

Get a steam roller! Surly do make solid bikes still.
Most bikes (even the italian ones like Willier) are made in china or taiwan now but that doesnt mean they are all the same.
I would get something with a flat top tube, looks so nice and really comfortable to ride.
for under a grand,
Surly Steamroller (get one built up)

your rear bearings suck it sounds like. it sounds like you are breaking the bearing casing causing things to wobble loose.

Some of the components on the Trek Soho you're going to want to switch out. The seat and bars are a def. day one switch. Pedals are decent enough. The bike is pretty quick for what it is and the option to go fix or free wheel is a nice option. It's a great bike.
