Its probably something just as simple as too much sugar in your blood.
try this out dude, go for a GOOD run.If your lazy tell yourself the run will only be for a block or 2, once you get started the laziness goes away and you can run for miles, but you have to focus on your breathing, get a good pattern going, time your breathing (inhales or exhales) with your steps/strides.
ex:
inhale on every 2 steps, exhale every 2 steps, sum like that
Doing this you can run forever. don't run with someone else if they like to talk, talking fucks up your breathing and you'll get tired in minutes. you need air to run, breathing is the most important thing.if you feel great and focused afterwards, then that was your problem.
fuck those chemical drugs dude, that shit will make you a dependent little bitch + with lack of exercise, your asking for a lot more health problems in your near future physical and psychological.

I had a prescription and took it for a month. When I came off of it I spiraled into a depression. Not sure if it's related to withdrawal.

Wow, thoroughly impressed with your answers... I'm going to avoid "meds" and go with exercise, diet and more sleep. On a personal level, I had an ex that stocked a medicine cabinet in her purse, she literally blew her brains out 2 years ago. Sad. I need a tennis partner now! Preferably short shorts...

I hear Obama Kush is nice monospaced ;) Have you tried it?
- ukit20
Really, your ex literally blew her brains out? That's horrible.
Because of addiction? And now you want to take drugs?
- I'd take that 'blew her brains out' quip with a healthy grain of salt, were I you.Continuity

tried it for a couple of weeks.
became super focused and organized both in daily activities and thoughts.
Felt a bit zombie like and creativity took a nose dive. Mind became slower, unable to think a mile a minute which is needed when thinking creatively.
Had a lot more patience.
Wasn't anxious, felt very chill.
Couldn't sleep.
effects wore off the more i took it, so i stopped.

I took it in college quite a bit to grind on projects long into the night. I haven't used it in a long time and looking back it was terrible — haha.
I was a emotionless zombie with a clenched jaw that couldn't sleep. The work I did get done was so hyper-focused that I missed the big picture on just about every project. I would get so focused on small details and eventually way off track to the point where the overall project was incomplete.
I would change your diet and exercise before you consider taking the easy way out. Humans have done great things for thousands of years without it.

hope @cirque is alright despite getting pounded here. wondering if perhaps he was dealing with some deeper stuff and this was his outlet...

what were we talking about?

Adderall is like any stimulant - take too much and you get bad reactions. No different than drinking too much coffee.
Anyone that says they had a 'bad' reaction, most likely, just took too much.

I've taken Adderall (Ritaline) as a child and occasionally as an adult. It made me work faster and with less mistakes but also made me a bit dull and uncreative. I stopped taking it and now I am in a position where my coworkers have a lot of kids so they have the patience with me :)
