My quotes are being rejected left and right, even though im cheaper now than i've ever been. Lots of people using online freelance site where the can find the desperate and cheaper prices.
Anyone noticing the same?

Please fix your website. Copy is riddled with errors, I think it's all Flash, and it looks like it was built for a 640x480 monitor. Perceived value man, perceived value. Looking through your site I can't even really see your work it's so small.
- I'd say the work on your website is better than the website itself.... add some client testimonials too if you canvaxorcist
- Flash is scaling your work down without anti-aliasing. I can't read your copy. And your descriptions have typos.monospaced
- good point. It does really get used. It hasn't been visited for 3 years. you'll be my first.

- Your clients aren't visiting your site? Well, then even MORE reason to update it and share it.monospaced

what types of bids? types of clients? I'd consider finding new clients/prospects...
I sometimes seek out prospective clients who have had previous low-bidder bad experiences so they are willing to consider paying $ and listening carefully, not just trying to shove it out the door fast and cheap....

They found you on Facebook and don't approve of your lifestyle or choice of associates.

interesting how no one ever answers the question.
- your question is if anyone's experiencing the same.. do you expect only yes/no answers?monospaced

you won't get anywhere with that tone, young man!
I see it happening, but it hasn't affected me. You won't win trying compete with these places. Why would you lower your rates? It says desperation to me and doesn't make me want to hire you.
- i don't even see your website...doesnotexist
- oh...there it is...closed it when it loaded. doesn't say you know anything about web.doesnotexist

I'm not noticing the same, but my clients wouldn't think of hiring some kid in Asia.

Redesign your site, don't use Rosewood, act professional.

This is also a sales process question.... if your quotes are being rejected left and right, you may want to "qualify" your prospective clients, i.e. talk to them more before you draw up a quote, and decide if it's worth drawing up a quote at all... especially with startups
If you have prospective clients who just ask about prices without much context, and ask for quotes without wanting a converstaion, they are more like tire kickers at a used car lot than actual possible prospective clients

Key to all this is not to work for money, Let money work for you.

I don't notice that and don't even know of companies that use an online freelance site (maybe really small local companies). Perhaps you're bidding on the wrong projects or looking in the wrong places. Maybe look into doing work for ad agencies / marketing companies. They have a ton of work and it's probably a lot easier to get (and deal with).
Like others have said, your website and work showcase is really small and probably shouldn't be in Flash (maybe it's out of date?). Maybe look into redoing that and putting your best foot forward. If I were a client, that'd be the first place I'd be looking if I was considering your services. At first glance, I'd think you were a solo illustrator -- not someone who builds sites, print, identities, etc. Feels a bit misleading. Anywho, best of luck.

There is a widening gap between production design work and thinking based design work. That could be part of it. I would stay perceived value is the biggest thing.

You can charge $50 for a logo or $20,000. It depends on your process and finding good clients.
