This time it's one of my sites that I designed.
I've had foreign developers steal my sites before, but this one's in Pittsburg and it's a code for code image for image blatant violation.
Not looking to bitch, just wondering If people have had experience with this and what sort of action they've taken.
Want us to start calling them?
* gets popcorn
Yeah, this is beyond ripping. This is straight theft.
I'm calling the police.
Why take action? Are they stealing tons of hits from you? Nope. Doesnt even look like they are for the same type of business. Does it really matter? You should be flattered anyway. Send them an email trashing their "designer" if it makes you feel better.
Your type is much better.
I will send them a tweet.
We've contacted AtmosFEARfx and let them know. They are going to call them and give them a chance to make it right. If they refuse, they can get legal involved.
Yo site look mo betta though.
How did you even find that?
Guess the net is smaller that you'd think....
I love the Atmosfear product. I wish they offered a 720p download for $15 or something. $40 USD + P&P to NZ is way too much.

you can look at it this way, out of all the horror sites their designer looked up for inspiration he liked yours the best. but yours still looks better. I'd let them know, and maybe even let your client know too, they might do something about it as well, make them do the dirty work.
A digital download would be ideal, but back when I started working with Atmosfearfx 4 years ago, special effects that pale in comparison to their stuff would cost thousands of dollars. When you consider that people drop hundreds of dollars for stupid animatronic skeletons for their porch on Halloween, $40 for professional special effects seems pretty damn good.
sorry, I don't see the similiarities.
flabbergasted. what is wrong with some people?
This wouldn't happen if parents stopped naming their kid Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed, let them wear hats backward, pants down around the crack...
