We are still using Excel here at work to store client password and login info.
Has anyone come across a better solution?
It needs to have customizable fields, and be able to add multiple passwords for each client
I found this one...has anyone tried it?

bossman is a little sketched about using an online system, so we are looking something to use locally on our server.

Passpack can be sharable through the office - you can have teams - if someone quits or is fired, you can revoke their share and they no longer have access to the company passwords. There is a desktop Air client you can download (http://www.passpack.com/en/pass... and you can create tags, for quicker access to client passwords.
You can also save an encrypted hash of your passwords, in the event something tragic happens to passpack.com

I've spent quite a bit of time looking into the issue of password storage this past year.
I had originally been using MS Word docs to store everything because I didn't have a better system and hate Excel.
I researched and tested many different solutions, both online and software that runs locally.
In short, I found out that there's really no perfect solution because everyone's needs are going to be a little bit different than the developer who created the password management software.
Ultimately, I wound up going with 1password because for me it checked the most boxes. It's not perfect, but it's a major time saver over individual Word docs.
I believe you can sync 1password accounts across multiple machines by using a shared dropbox account, but I've never had to look into it.
- 1password seems to be for website logins only...can you add new fields for other stuff?dbloc
- Yes you can... at least kinda. You have the ability to add your own fields and your own secure notes section.nocomply
- But I don't know how well that stuff works with the 1-click login browser extension.nocomply
