@CygnusZero4 you've got to be kidding. Sony has a better console this time than MS and not only that, 100 euros cheaper.
Plus games can be sold/bought used, unlike the XBO which is up to the publisher of the game to allow it or not.
I own a 360 but I'm buying PS4 first. An XBO perhaps later on that depends on the exclusives, but not in the 1st couple of years I think.
- PS4 games are also region free. Everything that sucks about the XBO the PS4 fixesernexbcn
- Xbone DRM isn't up to the publisher actually, it's mandatoryanimatedgif

I'm not even commenting on the rumors from neogaf that MS is having yield problems with their processors and they might have to underclock their console. A console that was already underpowered by choosing to go with DDR3 + eSRAM instead of GDDR5.

XBone has to reconsider it policies after Sony's Conference. I have both current systems, but I have always been more of a MS fanboy. Not anymore. There's no way I would buy an XBone in its current state. I will consider a PS4, but I'm going to hold my breath for the Steam Box (with HL3 exclusive.) Save us Gaben.
- I'm gravitating back to PC. Steam rocks. I just got the Alan Wake franchise and DLC for a measly $4. Love weekend sales..ETM

- Yeah, Steam is already killing it.DRIFTMONKEY

With the X-Box having voice control, I think i've just thought of an idea for a game for it.
It's called "Back Seat Driver". It's a driving game, well the computer does all the driving, you just sit on your couch and give commends like "look out for that car!" (and computer will swerve), "You took the wrong turnoff, go back and take the last right" (and the computer will do accordingly.).
Genius!
I'll write a blog detailing the whole thing and post tumblr images I find then harass Microsoft to see if they'll make it.
I'll even design a groundbreaking box to hold the game.- lolBluejam
- You: "Just pull over and ask for directions!"
Xbone: "Sorry, I can't do that, Dave"ETM - Is KFC still open? Pull over here, no, next exit!monospaced

I like the xbox one and I don't care about having it online or the used game stuff, I play like five games/year and have no used games.
BUT I will buy the PS4 because I hate how MS treats the gaming community and tries to push a product towards the people that no one needs or wants.
- good on you dude. vote with your wallet and we can do our best to keep consumers listened to.Hombre_Lobo

I am hoping Valve drops something insane with the Steambox...
- Valve time doesn't work like normal time. Could be 2 months, could be 2 years.DRIFTMONKEY

^i really don't expect to be insane. From what I've seen it's either gonna be
-a reasonably priced gaming pc in a more marketable case
- the above which carries a gaming orientated os, like a linux os for gamingEither way I don't think it will be much more exciting than a pc with stream installed on it.
I'm excited about the push of pc gaming into the living room though, it's something I've been wanting more for years. I keep meaning to drag my tower into my living room.
- your last sentence summarizes why this will be great. A compact gaming rig for the living room.DRIFTMONKEY
- its cool idea, but its nothing new, or revolutionary. I just hope whatever OS they make is good. thats the clincherHombre_Lobo
- It's revolutionary that the entire PC gaming community will move to TVs with their games.monospaced

I place a lot of trust in Valve, they normally come up with the goods though this is a tough battle.
- yeh valve often get things right and know their audience very well. Im optimistic they'll nail it.Hombre_Lobo

I have only had xbox then xbox 360. Totally cool gaming system.
As a customer I am well annoyed at the need to be online every so often to play a game, what if I move house and want to continue playing a campaign while I wait for my services to be hooked up.
I thought it was bogus and a very strong privacy move, however a friend told me that actually xbox were great for sharing games because if you wanted to play online it was all good but actually playstation registered the game so if you bought a second hand game it wouldn't let you play online, so it looks like playstation were the ones tat started the copyright movement.
I think it is fair to reduce copyright infringment, but maybe pay a percentage of shared games to the publisher?.. I don't know all I am frustrated with is the 24 hours thing, kids in their rooms with no internet etc. etc.
