Fuck you Apple.
I was getting the update. All of a sudden I get an error message " This phone cannot be updated". It ejects itself from iTunes. I unplug it and plug it back in. Then it says this iPhone must be restored for it to be used with iTunes. I restart my iPhone and it's only giving me the "plug into itunes" graphic.
Message on iTunes reads "Are you sure you want to restore you iPhone to factory settings... all your shit will be deleted. It doesn't look like I have any other option.
Fucking unstable shit.

The real icing on the cake is that plugging the upgraded phone in alerts you that it won't work with iTunes and you need a new version, and Updater does not yet have this version.

Well I was able to download it, and then went to install and it says software update unavailable.
How could it be unavailable when I downloaded it already?

It won't even update. I restored it to factory settings, but am still getting the error message. I have no use of my phone whatsoever. I'm not able to do ANYTHING.

Kinda crazy that everyone is having so many issues.
I plugged it into my work computer after opening up this thread about 30 minutes ago. Everything has downloaded, installed and I am now going through the "welcome" steps. Was pretty painless for me – just had to update iTunes.

mono, there's a difference between seeing some screenshots of the interface online and actually experiencing something in person. the EXTENT of the horrible design is beyond my expectations.
