Have you tried pasting in another error message above it or replace it with a different to see if that one works?

Believe it's due to this:
if(input.hasClass(noZeroClass)){
if(inputVal < minValue) input.parent().addClass(errorCla...
} else {
if(inputVal < minValue && inputVal > 0) {
input.parent().addClass(errorCla...
}
}It's not erroring because it doesn't have the no zero class, which kicks off the else statement. Then, it doesn't match the error clause (less than min, greater than zero) because it's zero

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see any method that makes the error message visible upon validation.

It's getting red here if I submit with that empty.
