Believe it's due to this:
if(input.hasClass(noZeroClass)){
if(inputVal < minValue) input.parent().addClass(errorCla...
} else {
if(inputVal < minValue && inputVal > 0) {
input.parent().addClass(errorCla...
}
}It's not erroring because it doesn't have the no zero class, which kicks off the else statement. Then, it doesn't match the error clause (less than min, greater than zero) because it's zero
