Too bad there really is no alternative to Photoshop...people always mention Gimp as an alternative but it's basically unusable in my experience.

I guess it is what it is but what about when you work for a company?
A cloud set up will have all your info and stuff but what happens when you leave the company?
Does it make sense for designers to start having their own account that they take with them and have the company pay them for it?
