EDM is not dead at all, but the US are hard trying to kill it now!

edm = pop music
I tried to write a longer post, but I can't stomach it. The huge Vegas/EDC/Tomorrowland sound is such fucking bullshit it's laughable. And I like that this Wolfgang Gartner guy is moaning about the sound he creates. As if he's saying "someone stop of from making even shittier music that the masses (for reasons unknown) continue eating up.
And oh yeah, FUCK DEADMOUSE.

yo, I agree "mostly" with what has been said here,
but leave Al Walser out of it,
the guy is fuckn unique, his style his impeccable, his beats are linear and he knows EDM to the core,
screw you haters for hating on him- dude, watch the vid. he leaves his kid at the beach. he's a monster.prophetone

I kinda agree with Georges, I can't really hate this guy. He's like a real life Sasha Baren Cohen character.
He also has an amazing number of YouTube videos for someone who has only written one song.
- Dear god, this is rubbish. Nothing like EBM, so that answers my question.Continuity
- Also, whoever designed the anims needs to be shot and pissed on.Continuity

i'm just glad i don't really like this shit... so it won't bother me that its getting worse. i used to love rave in the early 90's then trance in the mid 90's after that it all sold out terribly. this is what i used to love...
the faithless tune first came out in '95 and was a massive underground tune... i hated the radio edit... i now instantly tune out to 'trance' 'dance' music as its all the same, and don't start me on dubstep!
- Ahhh Insomnia...haven't heard that one in a long time.Akagiyama
- trance WAS the selloutfadein11
- i loved the prodigy when they first came out in the early 90's... trance was the beginning of the endcruddlebub

This is the one that hit me in the gut the first time I heard it. Never looked back after that...

Sorry, I can't let go of this...
"Al’s “hit song,” which currently has 5,000 views on YouTube, is a low-budget carnival of cheesiness that you’ll have to endure for three minutes to understand what the hoopla is all about. Even then, it may be hard to grasp the collective sum of human atrocity happening before your eyeballs. I never thought I’d say this, but I’d rather listen to Skrillex’s vapid screeching for an hour than have to play that video again (so please, guys, let’s not make this a meme?)."
