Liked the storyline last night and think they should open up places like that. The actress WAS terrible.
My GF asked what I was watching that just seemed to be full of some woman screaming blue murder. "That's not a tv program!"

“On the biggest day of Stefan’s life, over 60% of his friends from the future fed him Frosties.” - @BlackMirror
“Compared to the rest of the world, Brits were *less* likely to waste a good cup of tea (obviously). Bandersnatchers in Britain chose “throw tea” only 52.9% of the time. The rest of the world do so 55.9% of the time. - @NetflixUK
“73% chose to ACCEPT the job at Tuckersoft.” - @Netflix
“Out of the 5 main endings, the one where Stefan goes on the train with his mum *fights tears* was the path least traveled.” - @NXonNetflix

I missed last last night's, but I bet it's still better than 98% of most British TV.

So it's out,
I guess I'm not working tonight

It was a massive topic to try and do justice to in an hour - it would have been hard to make a workable character/plot arc even within a 2 or 3 hour movie - so much has to happen with and to characters to engage an audience enough to care about them, that trying to even scratch the surface of the implications of the technological topic was always going to be hard. Sci-fi like this is always about 90% run and 10% jump and shudder to think how much editing went on both during his script write and in the edit proper. The performances were good enough and the dialog was pretty authentic, an excellent job considering Brooker's real talent lies in invective, insight and acid critique at which he is unsurpassed.
I'd like to see him try his hand over a series, 10 hours or so - his insight into human nature and the particularities of English people is well developed, but I think he's stifled by the 1 hour format. An excellent start, the 1st series and what I saw of this 2nd - I hope he's given a bigger format for S03.- Hey, next time you write a review,
please give star ratings

It was no Running Man.
Though I quite liked the credit sequence - insights into how the park functioned, how it was all put together and why. Felt a bit more sinister and dystopian.

That was fun as fuck!

such interesting ideas and I love the minimal sci-fi but why so few episodes?
only 3 eps per season ... I feel cheated
- i_monk0
This season was really tame compared to last. Did they have their budget cut or something?
- probably the opposite. More budget, more mainstreamanimatedgif
- i_monk0
It was two different but related ideas that shouldn't have been combined into one episode.
(And taking revenge on someone is hardly "justice". Any claim of moral superiority goes out the window when the punishment is for the gratification of onlookers. I'd sooner support the death penalty, as barbaric as it is, than torture theatre.)
- I'd be about as likely to support one as the other. Neither at the moment, but I don't have a personal need for vengeance.mikotondria3
- And justice certainly IS deputized revenge, in the 3rd person.mikotondria3

My first round:
Dont talk about mom
Work from home alone
Go to homeboys house
Take drugs
Jump
- Fax_Benson0
I thought it started really well but took too much of a leap with the "2nd phase". Way too much to pack into an hour and resulted in some pretty big plot-holes. I thought the very-near-future tech in the first half was well done, though.

And, as miko suggested, the girl in the lead role is very, er, watchable.
