OK, I was told to start my own thread so here it is...
West Coast (and those of you familiar enough) I will be in LA very soon and need ideas and suggestions on places to visit (yes, even the cliche touristy ones), eat, avoid, etc.
I'm completely new to the city and although it wil be a very brief trip, I want to do/see as much as I can :)
THANKS!

I like to go to this place whenever I'm doing a gig in LA.
And I get a Knish with goulden moustard. It's open 24hs

Daikokuya has great ramen in Little Tokyo area (which is a great an unusual place to visit when you are in LA) Go sign your name on the list first. then walk around the area and return in 30 minutes, because there's always a line outside. Don't plan on doing anything else after it, that soup will knock you out for the day.
- And you smell like that place for the rest of the day as well.JackRyan

If you are a Lebowski fan, you will recognize Johnie's Coffee Shop & restaurant, for the Toe scene. The place is closed but you san see inside from outside.

Realtors? Buying a house? Most people start with roommates and work their way up. You got it like that?

If you could swing it traffic/commute wise, I always found killer places in Manhattan beach. I would have been to much of a pain in the ass for where I was working at the time, but you might try there. Cool place for the kiddos too.
