don't get me wrong i don't want to sound like an ignot and violence is surely never the answer but after watching that vice docu posted in the Iraq thread i'm kind of glad somebody is bombing shit over there.
- felt sort of the same, on the one hand you can never justify how Israel is treating the Palestinians, but on the other you realise what they're surrounded by and the steps they need to take to defend themselves._niko
- ...you realise what they're surrounded by and the steps they need to take to defend themselves._niko
- what is happening in Israel has been happening since 1948. The current crisis in Iraq is related to Bush's failed warlowimpakt
- You are simplifying way too much...ISIS doesn't even like Hamasukit2
- @ukit - sure, but what happens when ISIS spills over to jordan, or infiltrates gaza?dasohr
- isis have "infiltrated" globally. israel's illegal blockade of gaza may only make that problem worse, but that's speculation.lowimpakt
- I don't think Gaza will be the focus anymore. Israel will face a much more volatile and dangerous adversary.dasohr
- you do know why they are fighting don't you?lowimpakt

Yes but U.S. can fight the entire war via remote control
Once U.S. and Israel wins, world government is declared
Barack Obama becomes king of the world

Kiko - ignorant? lol... dude... here's a real history lesson for you numnuts.
they had all that land for YEARS (under british rule).
did nothing to it.
it was a barren desert.
jews were living there too...
Then european jews came after millions of our people were murdered in the holocaust... and we settled... we built it up... from nothing.
then... war.
war - 1947-1949
operations - 1950-60
six day war - 1967
war of attrition 1967-70
yom kippur war - 1973
southern lebanon - 1971-82
we were in wars... we won.
- what about the 700,000 people expelled in 1948?lowimpakt
- so if there was another war and you lost, you'd be cool with that?Gnash
- The Chosen People®utopian
- @dconstrukt, I am very familiar with the history of the region. I am also aware that the Palestinians are being unfairly treated by the Israelis,
Kiko - treated by the Israelis, who are being funded to the tune of $3bn a year to ethnically cleanse the area of Arabs
Kiko - I think we both agree that the murder of the Jews during the holocaust was a despicable act. You seem to use it to justify the murder of the Palestinians.Kiko
- the murder of the Palestinians.Kiko
- So land that's not being used to some others' metric is free for grabbing? Huh.detritus
- what about the american indians? USA took their land... since you're so "concerned"dconstrukt
- I'm British, and fully aware that my country's old expansion was simple Imperialism. Your point?detritus
- The Jews died of Typhoid Fever in concentration camps, there was no Holocaust.
omg - kiko... no.. its palestinians that are hostage to hamas, thats who israel is fighting. if hamas was gone this wouldnt be happening.dconstrukt
- dbloc1
this will not end well.

There's no laws against killing civilians during a war? Why everyone let them do what they want like it's normal?
- Laws in a war? Are you looking for a FIFA ref to get out there and start tossing some red cards?PonyBoy
- What 'laws' are really in a war?PonyBoy
- Actually there are rules, treaties like the Geneva Convention.reanimate
- and if you think either side follows those treaties - you're out of your mind... the winner always writes historyPonyBoy
- again... there are no referees... to think that war will ever be 'fair' is a silly notion... erase it from your headPonyBoy
- are there rules against using civilians as human shields? (just asking... no way am I taking sides here)PonyBoy
- I mean... its war... why would there be any rules? I'm trying to understand the thought process of those who think there are rulesMiguex
- there are rules during war...

imagineallthedeadpeople: not sure if you're despicable or just thick in the head.
People condemn atrocities of all brands all the time. The key difference between ISIS and Israel is that our governments are bankrolling and supporting Israel and Israel, a democratic state (not a terrorist organization, right?) is supposed to be civilized.
It's terrible when mad men run around killing people. It's worse when those mad men wear suits, receive money from our tax dollars, and shell UN schools in the middle of the night.

Different religions were man made by different tribes living in different geographical regions in order to explain what was unexplainable to their own existence and to give them peace of mind during difficult times. Different tribes were unaware of the existence of other humans. When they encounter each other, fear of the unknown was yet again comforted by each other's man made God. Wars. Conflicts. Instinct for survival. All of it makes sense for a primitive state of mind. We're still living in these primitive ages where we still believe we're different people of different kind. For as long as we maintain this man made notion of tribal religious belief in our own psyche that protects the tribe's view of its own world, we'll continue to see and experience more war and less peace.
I need to step outside and go for a walk and listen to some music in my headphones in order to clear my mind...haha!

"you're saying it's hypocrisy that the world doesn't accept Israel's brutal and inhumane war against Palestine.. i mean, if Iraq can be inhumane then why can't Israel too?! ..poor fella, whining until his point doesn't even make sense"no that's not what I'm saying.
what I'm saying is that you're not honestly concerned about people dying, dead children. that your concern is fake. that you are dishonest. dead children are only a concern to you as an outlet for your prejudice.
same goes for arab league, UN members that condemn israel, UNHRC goes without saying, one-sided human rights groups, anti-israel demonstrators, erdogan, qatar, iran, the majority of the media and so on. dishonest. hypocrites. they might have political reasons as well, unlike you, but I don't know if that makes it better or worse.
