I think anyone that wants to try to make the government smaller is better, and yes I do think he would be a good president. We all know at some point we will have to make hard decisions, I think he will do his best to make them. I dont want the US to be in the situation Greece is in, and we are going there, maybe already there. Sometimes you need a bit of a hard ass, to make the tough decisions. Obama has not been that way and his policies suggest otherwise. Before we deal with how we want to regulate big businesses, lets regulate our fricken government. How can we expect to regulate big business, when the government is rampant with corruption and fraud. Demand better politicians, hold them to higher standards than anyone else.
That being said, I would rather have Ron Paul in the election because I feel he has a bit of a better understanding of cutting government and only running the government for what it is responsible to do. No more no less.
Again, Obama has been nothing but divisive to our country. I didnt mind that he won the election, after all he spoke well and had some promise to bring people together with his rhetoric on election day- calling for people to do their part, etc. But he turned 180° to say the 1% are not doing their part and made that the stance for the country these past 3 years. It's bad policy to pit us against each other. I dont like him for that fact and that fact alone, I dont like him.

I don't see how Romney would make the tough decisions. Look at his tax plan, his main policy is to give another big tax break to people especially the top bracket. How can that be considered responsible when we have 15 trillion deficit?

I think we should be a bit more emphatic with what we expect to see from Iran. We have allies and they are being threatened. Its not a little game we are playing here. Obama doesnt seem to know how to handle it. Ex. The View rather than meeting with Netanyahu.
Think about that for a moment... if Bush W did that in his re-election year, how do you think the mainstream media would've handled that?
War is a tough one, on one hand I would never want us to get into conflicts, but on the other hand this is real world and its out of our hands and we have to choose a side to be on.
On taxes, its a difference in wanting to tax more of a 1% pool or get a lower tax rate from a larger % pool in hopes that more people will get jobs and become more successful.

You can also make cuts to government spending to start to chisel away at the debt. I would like the government to think this way, rather than raising more and more taxes. Because in the end, the 1% will not put a dent into the deficit. And we all will be paying for it big time.
Obama doesnt care about the deficit. He talks about distributing the wealth. Tax the 1% more to spread, not pay off a deficit-bad policy.

So basically Romney wants to raise taxes on the poor and middle class while lowering them for the rich.
The ironic thing is that he's offended by the 47% who don't pay enough taxes, but he barely pays any himself. Apparently paying no taxes is only OK if you're already a millionaire.

Romney doesn't care about any of you. He cares about money, power, his cronies and possibly his legacy. He will hand over what money is left for helping those who need it in this country to his rich pals and supporting corporations. Such a scam. He will fail to see the nuances required when dealing with other nations. He's definitely not as smart as the other candidate. And there are multiple accounts of him hazing school mates for being gay. Add to that his quick switching of stances when it suits him (when HE has the most to gain). And how unforthcoming he is with even basic details about his "Economic Recovery Plan." Shady. If your going about this election merely by standing on party lines, you are being had.

Romney has done more to bring this country together and galvanise opinion than any politician here I've seen in many years.
Everyone I know is absolutely united, over the last few weeks, that he is the most odious, incompetent, mean-spirited, dishonorable person ever to sully the name of the presidency by attempting to win it. People are in shock at how consistently wrong he is on every issue, how he mis-speaks and mis-thinks every point whether it's something considered and strategic, or an off-the-cuff horror-fest like the chanting 'Romney-Ryan' with that red jacket on. I wouldn't let that man scan my groceries. It, and he, chills me to think that millions of people would help him become president. Of where they live. Have real power, make important decisions. It's absolutely, these last few weeks, beyond joke. It was beyond a competition some time before that, but it really feels like a ref should step in at this point and stop it. Romney has a massive cut over each eye so he cannot see, and is stumbling around the ring swinging and cheering with the crowd who are braying to see him knocked out. It's not fun anymore.
