True though... his songs sung by other people can usually be a lot better.

I've seen Dylan in concert a few times... once he sounded great, once he sounded like donald duck... the latter case was in a hockey stadium... I do admire him for still touring at his age...
He's an acquired taste... that's okay for me....
and yes, sometimes others sing his songs better than he does...
