^ Yeah - any possible cover up opportunity? Removal doesn't have to be the only option?

I've had two removed, one on my chest & one on my ankle. Painful & expensive, oh yes.
- do you have a scar?sea_sea
- Nope, all clear.Iifeinvector
- so it does work, interesting. i've been debating weather to cover one i have on my chest or erase it.. hmm which you think is less painful? i know sissy question.sea_sea
- painful? i know sissy question, but i'm almost thinking of just transforming it into something beautiful.sea_sea
- Go the cover up/transformational route man - less $$ less pain more memories...doktornomore
- is it more painful than getting it done? I got mine on the foot and hurt like a motherf-er.isakosmo

knew a shop in SF where the shop owner talked about cutting some skin off a dude for coming in getting inked and not paying

Had a 3 inch back tattoo removed a few years back. It was 3 times as painful as getting a tattoo, takes 10 times as long, and cost 20 times as much.
Whole thing sucked, but it worked and I've got the faintest ghost of it now. Glad it's gone.

like lifeinvector said... expensive = no scars.
i've seen some horrible attempts at removal. gotta have it done right otherwise it could end up looking a whole lot worse than the tattoo.

ok. anyone had a foot tattoo removed? was SO painful getting it done, and it's quite bit, like covers about 1/3 of my foot. but i want it off. can't imagine how it could be any more painful than when i got it done?!

Can I ask why you want it removed? Technically poorly executed? Bad idea/design? Promised your lady that you were ink free and now she's starting to wonder why you never remove your socks?

feels like a rubber band snap, cept your skin catches on fire (literally), and the pain of the remaining blistering is crazy painful.
i had about 8 sessions on a piece that was about 4x4 inches. was light enough to tattoo over (but definitely not gone). you'd need at least 10 to get it to be unnoticeable.

$100-140 each session

Moral of the story....don't get some dumb shit when you're 18 or hungover or whatever. No one under 25 should even think about getting a tattoo (not saying you were, just as a general rule).

Isn't there another thread here about tattoos? I think I remember a different one...
