looks really nice. love the ui flow. the type and icon work is slick and clean.
kinda surprised HUGE didn't do this overhaul. How long ago was that? 2008 or so?

- they really do, meant to post this link from the ECD - http://rokkan.com/bl…whatthefunk
- Seems a bit dumbed down, suppose it's not written for the likes of us.toodee

I don't see what the fuss is about. Visual design is alright, but there's absolutely nothing that makes this any easier to use than any other travel site. The nav is little clunky.

Having redesigned a major airline site myself, I'm impressed how simple this feels. Airlines have so many business units that all want screen real estate and click throughs from the homepage, which can really get in the way of doing a good job. You often also have to deal with the marketing/website/agency/managem... nature of the project, meaning that a lot of decisions are by committee.
I really like how fresh it feels overall, with my only comment being that some of the light blue text is a little hard to read. I also find the navigation a little clunky because of the way the javascript has been implemented with a delay to stop users opening the nav by accident.

Top nav doesn't work properly on the iPad.

Nice work. I'm just about to enter a pitch for a major Star Alliance airline at work, so this will be a good reference piece for the discovery phase.

wow my eyes. are the buttons big ENOUGH? um... two website on one home page. above the rotating carousel is one site and below the flight form is another. that's just plain loco. kudos not so much for the designers but to the account team that sold this mess!
- dig it on an ipad and you'll see a tablet/monitor happy mediumwhatthefunk

So do you think they used the iPad as the starting point for the design, like the BBC are doing now?

Some of it looks like sanitary towel packaging.

Lots of info put together in a simple yet elegant way, I think...

LOVE IT

Really nice, clean, simple. I also love that they don't have a front page plastered with awful lifestyle photography or people on holiday like so many airlines.

YES BLUE IS THE BRAND COLOR BUT WHY IS IT BLUE WHEN ITS TINY TEXT? DONT YOU KNOW THAT ITS HARD TO READ? COLORS ARE SUBTLE THAT NOT SURE WHAT I AM CLICKING AT IN THE INPUT BOXES. THERE IS NO DEFINING DIVISION OF CONTENT WITH BUY AND BELOW. SEEMS TO MELD IN
- Why is this critique in all caps? I find it rambling and hard to read. There is no clear organization or logical structure.bulletfactory

- You need a new monitor if there is any text on there that is hard to read.voiceof
- I didn't read what your wrote because of the caps, but I'm sure you're wrong.zarkonite
