There was some super simple program that created vector spinning logos in Flash, ages and ages ago. For the life of me (or lack of coffee), I can't recall its name (and yes, I did own a copy).

I remember in the 90s practically everything 3D was done with 3dStudio and it always looked like these. People would just add a few presets to some text and it was amazing. That first spinning e looks like it has one of the old built in materials for 3dS, the blue horizon.

from way back, the standard was infini-d
- I used that for a few years. The modeling tools were very crude. There were no NURBs.CyBrainX
- i loved shape morphing in infini-d it is my most missed feature. turn a sphere to a cube in X frames********

Metacreations no longer sells, updates, or has anything to do with Infini-D. This also means that all support files have been yanked from their site.
Try as we might, the Infini-D community really does not know if ID was sold, or was killed completely so that Carrara, the new Golden child of MetaC could have a good rendering engine to slap behind that atrocity of an interface.
The world may never know (although, rumor has it, Adobe may be the proud new parent... conspiracy theories abound).

Spinning Counter Clockwise. Right Brain Thinking.

The spinning e could have been done by any 3D program. I like C4D even though learning character rigging is killing me right now.
