Last pair I bought was an open-air set by Audio Technica. Pretty good brand that's fairly easy to find.

I know you wanted over the ear ones but I have both over the ear (Klipsch Image One) and in the ear (Atomic Floyd Super Darts).
The Atomic Floyd Super Darts are unbelievable, very comfortable, don't fall out of the ear, the sound is unbelievable too, not cheap but well worth it.
Other than that, I tried the Bowers and Wilkins P3's, pretty decent.

My daughter is 11 this weekend and I want to get her a new pair of headphones. She is always borrowing mine, (I have a big set of Sennheiser's)
She uses them mostly for Minecraft. I want to get her nice big ones but should I be looking at the video game type with a mic?

Really appalled at the build quality of the aiaiai TMA-1 studio headphones that arrived earlier. Barely had them 20 minutes and they're already falling apart. Loose bits, messy glue, the jack doesn't fit in securely, overall just feel cheap as fuck and I reckon within a week they'd be useless.
They're going straight back to Amazon. Humorously bad ! Avoid.
- really? my tma1 FG have been smashed about for years now and still sound amazing, nothing has fallen off... maybe you just got a duff set?cruddlebub
