they look kind of weird but these have been the best sounding headphones Ive owned... not that expensive either and have yet to break 5 years in.

the AIAIAI TMA-1s are pretty dope.
i was using the grado SR-80s and the sound difference is pretty impressive.
good seal around the ears, comfortable on head or shoulders, the coiled wire and ability to detach it from the cans for when you leave your desk or whatever is nice.
i won't say anything about "rich full sound" or "warm tones" 'cause that's generally marketing wankery but they're solid. they've got good bass and it's not distorted, and they feel like they can really take some volume if you wanted to. soundstage feels really big.
$199 pretty much everywhere but ebay, where i copped a pair for $175
- also, they seem a bit smaller in person than in pics to me, which i dug 'cause i hate big horsey thingsscarabin
- i have the fools gold edition of these phones, they are awesomecruddlebub

A question for those with the AIAIAI TMA-1's, are they comfortable?
My previous headphones weren't, they were fairly tight and never loosened and often caused mild pain around my ears after prolonged periods of use.
They looked good but only had average sound quality so I'm looking to spend a little extra for something similar size-wise.
I would not recommend these based on my experience. The 'faux leather' pads cracked after about 6 months and then the plastic cracked on the hinges. Shame really because they looked great :(
I'm still open to tips for similar headphones around the £150 mark too :)
