"I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong," Jobs said. "I'm going to destroy Android, because it's a stolen product. I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on this."
Jobs used an expletive to describe Android and Google Docs, Google's Internet-based word processing program. In a subsequent meeting with Schmidt at a Palo Alto, Calif., cafe, Jobs told Schmidt that he wasn't interested in settling the lawsuit, the book says.
"I don't want your money. If you offer me $5 billion, I won't want it. I've got plenty of money. I want you to stop using our ideas in Android, that's all I want."

"Doing LSD was one of the two or three most important things I have done in my life."
Jobs even let drop that Microsoft's Bill Gates would "be a broader guy if he had dropped acid once." Apple's mantra was"Think different." Jobs did. And he credited his use of LSD as a major reason for his success.- link?dbloc

and from the top comment on that video:
1. this is when Bill gates was helping them developing Macintosh.
2. Microsoft bought 20% of apple in 1997 and saved Apple from bankruptcy, they also got lot of stuff from Microsoft such as internet explorer which became the default browser in all Mac's at the time.- Wow, I actually forgot that IE used to be the default browser.dMullins

Steve Jobs Biography: Jobs Warned Obama He'd Have 'One-Term Presidency'
http://abcnews.go.com/Technology…
Steve Jobs, the inventive and often strong-willed co-founder of Apple, warned Barack Obama, "You're headed for a one-term presidency" during a frank 45-minute meeting last year.Jobs' confrontation with the president is one of the many details reported by Walter Isaacson, whose 630-page authorized biography, "Steve Jobs," is scheduled for release Monday. Isaacson is scheduled to give his first live interview Monday on "Good Morning America."

Steve Jobs told Rupert Murdoch that Fox News was a "destructive force in our society," according to the blockbuster biography of the late Apple CEO.
Poynter was the first to uncover Jobs' blunt words about the network in Walter Isaacson's new book. Isaacson writes that, after speaking at a News Corp. retreat, Jobs unloaded on Murdoch:
"You're blowing it with Fox News," Jobs told him over dinner. "The axis today is not liberal and conservative, the axis is constructive-destructive, and you've cast your lot with the destructive people. Fox has become an incredibly destructive force in our society. You can be better, and this is going to be your legacy if you're not careful." Jobs said he thought Murdoch did not really like how far Fox had gone. "Rupert's a builder, not a tearer-downer," he said. "I've had some meetings with James, and I think he agrees with me. I can just tell."
This was part of Jobs' apparent love of tough talk with other powerful people. He also told President Obama that his economic policies would rob him of a second term.Nevertheless, Jobs was a close collaborator with Murdoch, working with him on the mogul's iPad newspaper The Daily.

So I'm about 50% through. I picked it up not out of zealous fawning for Jobs, but hopefully for some business/leadership vignettes. Moreover, I haven't read a good bio in a while, so ...
I agree with @inv. I always knew Jobs was temperamental, but so far, my general feeling is, "Wow, Steve was a raging asshole who demanded everyone listen to him, and if they didn't, he called them or went to meet with them in person so he could berate them." Also, Steve cries a lot.
Sorry to say, but Jobs comes across as a real Stalin so far in this bio.
