I'm gonna direct my first videoclip and now I'm looking for some references of music videos done with low budget.any suggestion ??

low budget = under $10k us
or no budget? like a few hundred bux coming out of the pocket of the musicians parents

also depends on what kind of gear and assets you have at your disposal, if you have a friend whos a good dp, + you have a lot of gear, theres a lot of possibilities, low/no can look pretty awesome depending on how creative and how much your willing to put into it work wise.

Yeah, like... every music video is low budget... Theres this thing about music videos, you dont do them to make a profit.
What kind of style are you looking for? Thats more important, I think...

think about it like that... Someone has to direct it ($1000), someone has to shoot it (another $1k), someone has to provide the camera ($250-1k) and lights ($500-1k) then some crew to run all that gear ($250-1k), then someone has to provide the space (free-$3k) then someone has to edit it ($500/day - about 2-3 days) and do the animations (if any) ($500-3000).
$4k-10k. That's your low budget.

you could remake that bittersweet symphony video. but have the whole band walk down the street playing the song while you're filming... stick the drummer in a grocery cart or something., drag the amps along by their cords.
bonus points if you get tagged by a car while crossing the street. <This could be your finale.

heres my super low budget vid (my first a few years back)
production = $700.us on lights, 20' jib, food and drinks for extras/crew, tips/cleaning products for main location.
free locations, crew, clean up crew, extras, dp w/ extra cam, props, + i have a shitload of my own gear around $12k-ish-worth- main talent we free too, they were theater actors. (not school theater)moldero

^ Awesome video by my friend Errol. Point being all you really need in absence of a good budget is a great idea. In this case a great idea and the work ethic to get it done.
