heres a redo based on some of the feedback I received here. Got rid of the shark fins, the mosque. I just thickened up the type for legibility - at this point just trying to achieve the right idea. I'm thinking if I can somehow make the palm tree look a little like a T - I think it almost looks greek for some reason - maybe its the blue - or the styling of the waves.
- id say clean it up and ship it - match the edge quality of the palm tree/font to the wavesyeeblazer

I always think of mosaic when it comes to the Med. What about a simplified mosaic mark or logotype? Could allow for an interesting colour palette, you could push the landscape in this style also.

whoa...that seems way too complicated to me. And vague...is it a place where I eat food? rent a surf board? doesn't say anything about the character of the business.

yeah I really like that mosaic stuff, but this is for a mom and pop sorta joint in a small redkneck town. Just wouldnt fly, the guy has a hard enough time getting people in the door.. lol.. love that stuff tho, sick shit.

That's it. Blue/white with repeating spirals is generic Greek.
