Just got back from the game. Simply EPIC!
Those first 2 goals really got me stressing like crazy, you could feel the whole stadium get the wind knocked out of them.US fans got loud! lol
Then Mexico made 2 defensive subs and the game turned around, one hell of a come back.
Dos Santos goal was damn straight beautiful, crowed went wild!!!
Over all props to both teams, that was a super fun game

Congrats sofaking.... great game and believe it or not I am glad to finally see Mexico playing like a team. Good game, and well deserved win. The last two goals were simply perfect. Barrera's strike was pure gold (you have to understand the level of difficulty to net that ball) and Dos Santos' goal was just the icing, and the perfect way to finish it off. Well done Mexico.
US needs to get some work done asap...

yea man, it was a really awesome experience. I think the biggest concern from the beginning was how weak mexicos back line was... 3rd string goalkeeper, injured salcido on left back, 2nd string replacement for center-back, Marquez coming off an injury and 2nd string replacement for right-back.
Thats the scariest situation against a US team that has always played a good counter attack game against mexico.
Adu was just burning salcido, once he got subbed the game turned around for mexico and Adu disappeared.
After that first goal mexico just put it in full throttle.
Now we have Copa America and unfortunately mexico isn't taking this team, they're taking a U-22 team. They'll be lucky to get out of the group stages

Yes, unfortunately for you, that team is not the same that won Gold Cup and another MINOR factor is that the teams in this tournament MIGHT be a little superior than say Cuba, Guadalupe, etc.
What's important is that Mexico seems to have found their mojo, and I don't think it has to do much with the coach. IMO, it's about an attitude change (you can see it in the way they play now). Now, I hope they let this team work and complete the cycle, that;s the way to get things done.
