Yeah, American fast food chains have been working really hard (not sarcastic at all, btw) to make their food better in light of the law suits from years past. This includes higher quality ingredients, better fats for frying, and reduced sodium. Other countries keep the full fat/sodium because their general populations aren't so stupid as to confuse junk food with regular food.

my lucky charms say 170mg sodium, the throwback mountain dew says 65mg, each per serving

Have you guys checked the sodium levels in Ramen, or Cup of Noodles? Its super high.

i dont use salt when i cook, salt is in everything anyway, peoples taste buds are just spoiled where they feel the need they have to add salt.
Mexico they load salt on everything, hence the weight problems.
