Taking a job as a resume filler?

All the days, 8 in the morning, in the meeting room where we prepare the deadlines and deliveries for the day/week, there is a big pannel full of works done in the past 10 years i´ve been at this company.
There´re good pieces, bad pieces and shit pieces... Like those kind of days you´re going to get on this industry.
Do your job, the best you can, don´t look back and focus on your next project, you´re sure it´s going to be your best piece ever ;)

like any industry, you will find the climbers (number one goal is to make it big/make a big impact), the followers (jump on the train of the climbers hoping to grasp some sense of belonging/helping), the worker (someone that just wants to complete the job handed to them and go home for the night), and the slacker (pass along the job to someone else to get done)...
and there within lies the vicious cycle.

take the job. take any job in your field. no matter what you're going to learn a lot.

If you can, start at an agency; however, I think it is a bit overstated that you NEED agency work to built a great portfolio.
