Hi Guys,
I am rebranding a Kindergarten with multiple locations. I originally wanted to draw the maps of each location in the same style as the site, colourful and slightly childlike, however the client wants google maps because it is more practical. She likes my maps though so she asked if I could combine them somehow.
So I just wanted to know if anyone knows of any good examples where people have skinned the google maps buttons, the slider and the location marker. Im sure I have seen this in the past but I cant remember any of the sites.
Is this possible? Can anyone shoot me a link with an example?
Thanks
Before anyone says 'google it', I have, I just wanted to see what people will come up with here as well

there's this, but it's a bit complex.
http://www.bcminerals.ca/s/Curre…your best bet is to dig into the API
http://code.google.com/apis/maps…changing markers is super easy... not sure about skinning the interface controls, but I'm sure you could do it with some persistence.

the HUGO BOSS Store Locator is actually a pretty good example of google maps customization: http://www.hugoboss.com/de/en/st…

The Hugo Boss site is good if you have a Hugo Boss budget. I think maps created especially for the site would look so much nicer than ubiquitous Google maps/earth. I'm happy to supply a quote for creating hand-drawn maps.
http://www.michaelahill.com- His client wants GoogleMaps. I don't know if you can customize the actual maps.CyBrainX

Yeah, I am a designer, I can create maps but the problem is the client wants google.
All I wanted to do is customise the marker, the buttons and the slider...
Thanks though
