Favourites I had stolen were Pradas, they were so solid and well-made, I'd buy again anytime. (they looked a lot like the dark Shwoods above)
Current casual sunglasses are D&G and Burberry (I got 50% off for buying 2 pairs - rock!)
Lightweight wrap glasses for sports are Arnettes
The last time I windowlicked at a sunglasses store I really like some of the ranges from Carrera and Tom Ford.

I have a pair of Pradas, only because they fit the best. Horrible quality, though, you clearly are paying for the name (and the box, packaging is tops).
Maui Jim's are pretty good quality and the usuals (Persol, RayBan, etc).
There are two types: "designer" (Prada, Gucci, etc.) and regulars. I'd always go for the latter if you can find something you like, the quality is really night and day. If not, order online, I got mine for 50% of what Sunglass Hut charges (I can't believe anyone pays those prices, honestly).

PS. rarely, if ever, have I seen shades online that I really liked, and then gone into the store and had them fit perfectly. Your face can be too wide, the bridge of your nose too small, the height of the lens too small etc etc...
Shop around and try lots on, most of the sunglass store employees know the deal and will let you try on heaps without any real pressure to buy. You might end up finding a pair that's more than you wanted to spend, but you'll love them.

All that matters is that you get a pair of shades with polarized lenses.
The sun ain't gettin any weaker!
