I have been commissioned to design the logo of a model agency called 1st Class Model Agency. Its a crappy name and I cant really think of an imagery for 1st class that doesnt make it tacky.
I am looking for font recommendations and other suggestions. Thanks

Surely what you are asking for is the job of the designer, so what are you doing exactly?
- an attempt at crowdsourcinguan
- I got my own ideas but im just not that happy and im looking for a fresh perspective. Im an art director to be exact with tons of other projects at our agency and this is just a freelance gig I dont really have much time for at the moment.
If you dont have anything constructive to say, please just ignore this thread. smh.
Lustwaffe - since when is it taboo to brainstorm on qbn? even if u were a help, who said i would use your idea?Lustwaffe

Keep it simple, dude. I had a logo project for a company called JustOne. I literally put a "1" in a square. It looked good and the client was happy.

to be honest, my only problem is the shitty name.

^ So make it really kitsch, but with style, super pop, yet designed well.

I would make the 1st small and bold and the class big thin open san serif letters then place the 1st inside the C. maybe have the letters of class overlap

a one in a lens or something. If they're happy with a 3rd rate name, then spending 2 weeks conceptualizing isn't going to help.
Did they call it that so they'd be at the top of the listings in the Yellow pages ?
I bet AA1 Absolute Best Models were pissed.
