I've posted similar topics but now I've got the specifics.
I will be in Peru from March 15th to April 20th.
I am going to WWOOF for 2 weeks. (This is set)
I am going to surf for a week (I think in the North - but I am looking to get some lessons and for a beach with as few whiteys as possible - recommendations??)
I want to do a 4-7 day jungle trek (I want it to cost less than 300 bucks, and not be the Inca trail or any other super popular tourist trail)
ANYONE?

There are a few trails that lead around the Andes to Machu Picchu... you don't have to take the most historic and celebrated "Inca Trail". Let me check on that.

yeah... please more info... as im going to Peru for Honeymoon in late april...
- Give me a few, when I lived in Cusco, my neighbor was a tour guide, he's in the amazon now - I will contact him now.SeriousFreelancing

Lares and Salkantay are the other trails that lead to Machu Picchu... unless you're in great shape you may want a porter. I'd count on the trip being $400 per person... and 100% worth it.

Serious - your "handle" is absurd.
Did you do the moto tour? Tell me more if so - I am interested.
So you think any alternative trail will cost 400?
Read a couple things about people doing it on their own (4-5 day hikes) not so interested in that, just makes me think there has to be another way.

Yes it is absurd, finally someone gets it! But I'm not sure if you're trying to insult me or not?

It is fucking hilarious.

Thank you! Finally.
So, the story goes... I did a moto tour with local friends. I lived in Cusco for a good while, so I can't recommend any official guides.
Salkantay and Lares will cost you between 350-400. I do not want to suggest any guides because I don't want to be responsible for what happens. Your dates are at the end of the rainy season, fyi.
I would not go by yourself unless you know about surviving in areas that, if not ready for, can make you sick... like preparing food and water where the food and water is full of micro-bs that nonlocal stomachs are not equipped to fight off.
Just to let you know, the Inca Trail, albeit popular is beautiful. I'd like to do the other two, just to understand and see the differences.
The moto tour is amazing... dangerous, but amazing.. mostly gravel roads, think kids running up to your bike to greet the "foreign guys", dodging livestock, winding around huge mountains in the middle of nowhere... it was fucking sick dude... loved it.

I highly recommend Arequipa if you have the time. If Lima is the Toronto of Peru, then Arequipa is definitely the Montreal. If you are looking for a pretty decent hike try the coca canyons, while you are there. I did the 2 day 1 night. It was pretty amazing. I had a buddy do a trek with his girl. They went and visited Chachapoyas and did the 3 day walking trek to the Kuelap ruins. Their pictures were awesome and there was nobody for miles. Plus if you are up there surfing that works perfectly.

^ Only if I had the time to listen to hipster's generalize the likes and desires of "white people"...

Serious - how much was the motorbike thing? $$$

Like I said, I don't know about organized trips... if you want I can hook you up with my friends... I'd say less than U$D30 a day... not sure what he would charge, probably a nominal guide fee, but you'd have to pay for his bike...
Are you an experienced rider?

I have rode the dirtbikes as a 16 year old. Scooters in Thailand.
I'd love to get in touch with your friend!
- I mentioned it because it's no walk in the park...SeriousFreelancing
