... to the Benny Hill music...

I feel such indifference to King of Limbs. I thought the best result so far was the video of Thom dancing around to the Benny Hill music.
I get that you don't want to make another Bends or OK Computer, but could you try a liitle bit harder next time? K?- the bends were 16 years ago, certainly youre not creating the same shit you did back then.fooler

after listening to the Basement session with headphones blaring I have a new appreciation of King of Limbs. The songs come off way more intense live than the studio recording.

I skip 2 out of 8 songs , still sounds far better then whats on radio

I don't think it's so much sub par as it is modest.

I think Thom has been listening to a bunch of Sun Ra and Miles Davis.

This is the only album they've done that's sub-par in my opinion.

Personally think the second half of the album is amazing. Not half as good as they've been in the past, but very good songs nonetheless. Heard that new Incubus dogshit? now thats a band that COMPLETELY fell off.
- When was Incubus remotely decent?CyBrainX
- S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Make Yourself are awesome. Morning View is really good as well. Then it started to drift...ridg0026

They have been producing quality for like what... 20 years?
Maybe they are uninterested and fading out... I dont know.

hard to appreciate anything after hail to the thief...all sounds the exact fucking same as the last 10

It's hard to like them when you're not in college anymore, I just came across a superb cover they did of the Smiths though... better than the original I think...

Just to echo above... A completed studio version of Big Boots would make a nice gift for longtime fans. It's a longing that for me goes all the way back to this period in my life:

Well, at least this is nice. Watch BBC world on the 1st of July for the whole set

I'm still hoping that there's going to be a second album release this year with Present tense and other stuff more like that. Still, I like a few of the King of Limbs tracks. Took a while to grow on me though.
