^ not much to see, but, yes, it gives away what's going to happen. Hmmmm... just wonder at what point this is in the movie?

There is definitely going to be CG going on with that batwing.
About the spoiler vid I posted, it's actually not really a big spoiler, IF you read about Bane in the Knightfall comics. Seems like that series is what this movie is losely being based on, just like how the previous ones were based on the Jeph Loeb comics.
In the teaser Gordon mentioned something about Batman going away, and has to come back. My guess is this happens somewhere in the middle of the movie, building up to the 3rd/final act of the movie.
Batman is gone, Bane starts wrecking serious havok on Gotham, trying to finish what the League of Shadows tried to start, even injured Gordon, then you see Wayne doing pushups in the teaser, recovering and getting back into fighting shape, hence the title of the movie.
- he is on the run from the start... remember?CALLES
- ahhhhh good assessment, I bet you're right.********
- he's on the run!?********

He is on the run at the end of Dark Knight Rises. The movie will probably start by addressing that, and being pursued. At some point he will encounter Bane though who, unlike Batmans previous enemies, can actually stand up to him in a fight, so Bane will likely get the better of him early on. Typical story arc that many protagonists go through in movies, so it makes sense.

There's that shot from the teaser with someone crawling out of the well that leads down to the batcave. Ill bet thats Bane. There's even the shot at the end of the teaser of batman looking like he's on the ropes against Bane, backing up, looks tired, and it looks like its in some sort of cave, possibly the new batcave.
I dont really feel like knowing this stuff spoils the movie because there's obviously a lot in between all of this thats impossible to know, like how Catwoman figures into all of this, and all the other little story details.
Actually a lot of this stuff is pretty predictable anyway, new bat vehicle, Bane doing to batman what he did in the comics, etc...

Will Nolan's 'Dark Knight Rises' occupy Wall Street?
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/…"The Dark Knight Rises," Christopher Nolan's third film in the Batman trilogy, has been shooting in Los Angeles in recent weeks. But the Christian Bale-led production is now set to make a trip to New York and could be heading to a fraught locale: the Occupy Wall Street protests.
Under its code name "Magnus Rex," the Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures production will arrive in the nation's biggest city for 14 days starting Oct. 29, according to a casting notice recently issued by producers. And, according to a person briefed on actors’ schedules who requested anonymity because production details were being kept confidential, cast members have been told the shoot could include scenes shot at the Occupy Wall Street protests.

I like how the cover says "first official pics", when they've already released official pics, such as the catwoman one.

By the way, there is a very specific reason why he wears that mask. Dont know what it is, I just read that there's a reason for it. Might have something to do with that huge scar that runs down the back of his neck. So he's not wearing it to look cool or anything.

Yes, it pumps the drug VENOM into his bloodstream, which if he does take every ten hours(or so) he goes into some wigged out withdraw spiral.
- CygnusZero40
Why would venom be in this movie though? There is nothing supernatural in these new batman movies. The whole idea of that doesnt fit at all in this realistic take on batman.
Even that mind bending drug from Batman Begins was just a drug. Having something in this movie that makes Bane grow instantly is ridiculous, aside from the fact that he isnt even really all that big.

I'm having a feeling that those pics above are Bane in his pumped form. He's not getting any bigger. My opinion, it defeats the purpose of using Bane if he doesn't have his power or giant size, but whatever. I'm sure the story will pull together and it'll be a good film.

I was right, he doesnt use Venom. The mask has nothing to do with that. And it makes sense because the entire idea of Venom and what it is to Bane doesnt fit within this realistic take on Batman. Venom is a drug that gives Bane supernatural strength in the comics, and that just wouldnt fit in with what Nolan is doing.
He's exactly what I thought he would be, just a strong maniac, very nasty and intelligent, good fighter, someone who can actually stand up to Batman, but is not pumped up on any sort of magic strength drug. Turns out the drug he is on is an anesthetic for an injury, that scar thats at the back of his neck.
Taken from Empire mag:
"He was injured early in his story. Hes suffering from pain and he needs gas to survive. He cannot survive the pain without the mask. The pipes from the mask go back along his jawline and feed into the thing at the back where there are two cannisters of what ever it is...the anesthetic."Christopher Nolan talks about the story:
"Our story picks up eight years after The Dark Knight. In terms of finishing our story and increasing its scope, we were trying to craft an epic. It’s really all about finishing Batman and Bruce Wayne’s story. We left him in a very precarious place. Perhaps surprisingly for some people, our story picks up quite a bit later, eight years after The Dark Knight. So he’s an older Bruce Wayne; he’s not in a great state. With our choice of villain and with our choice of story we are testing Batman both physically as well as mentally. Also, in terms of finishing the our story and increasing its scope, we were trying to craft epic so the physicality of the film became very important."Tom Hardy on Bane:
"He’s brutal. Brutal. He’s a big dude who’s incredibly clinical, in the fact that he has a result-based and oriented fighting style. It’s not about fighting. It’s about carnage. The style is heavy-handed, heavy-footed, it’s nasty. Anything from small-joint manipulation to crushing skulls, crushing rib cages, stamping on shins and knees and necks and collarbones and snapping heads off and tearing his fists through chests, ripping out spinal columns. He is a terrorist in mentality as well as brutal action. He’s a smashing machine. He’s a wrecking ball. If we’re going to shoot somebody, shoot the pregnant woman or the old lady first. Make sure everybody stands up. He’s a terrorist in his mentality as well as brutal actions. He’s horrible piece of work."
