what's with everyone complaining about TSA all the time. come on, be real. in terms of inconvenience and time, it's no different than years ago.
ive flown like 12 times this year. every single time i got through security, it wasn't "Fast", but it wasn't mythically dreadfully slow. as long as you're not one of those morons who try to "fight the power" the minute you step up to the plate, you're fine. you walk through the damn scanner, and you're done.
it's all the idiots out there who feel the time to voice their opinion is the moment they step up to the security line. here's a novel idea: don't buy a fucking plane ticket then.

well even if I don't buy a plane ticket, my tax dollars will still fund this security theatre you're so fond of. it's great that you don't mind being treated like a criminal just because you're flying though. pay no attention to the 70% failure rate at some major airports, and the fact that a dude just flew with a .40 caliber handgun that was completely missed. oh yeah, and the studies that say those scanners will give you cancer, which is probably the reason why TSA agents are forbidden from wearing radiation exposure badges.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

It's not about whether or not you go slower or faster through a security check. jesus.. it's about the fact that we are all getting rights stripped away and being felt up or scanned by some x-ray bullshit machines by TSA agents who previously worked as Walmart security and jerked off in bathrooms.
It's always the easiest to create police state to feel "protected". That's why founding fathers always raised the issue of our freedoms and rights, in both actions and words but mostly that if you sacrifice your personal freedoms and basic rights for "security" you are an idiot and don't deserve shit.
