which office are you interviewing at? I have been to the soho, san fran and palo alto.
In general lots of smart people, friendly but serious. Serious talent all around. I would expect their hiring process to be pretty thorough. The designers I worked with were total normal guys, worked really hard. If your going to Palo Alto you might even be meeting people I worked with.

Update interview went well. They're checking my references as we speak.
The process was absolutely grueling.

There will be a drawer filled with toys. From this drawer you must select some toys that you like. If you pick the right toys, you get to join the team. If not, the fire nation wins.

I want to see your work. Thank you.

Be ready to talk about where you went to college. If it wasn't Stanford your work better be absolutely awesome.

My friend was recently hired there over the summer as an AD. I can ask. I remember it being fairly grueling and a long process.

Be sure that you throughly research the company "IDEO" before your interview. Understand their process, their history, their founder(s), etc... By not doing so, you are committing interview suicide!
Best of Luck:)
