Please don't post if you are going to tell me that this is impossible, but is there any way to recover photos taken on a Canon T1i after getting a data corruption error? I just finished a shoot and got this error message on the last few shots and now I can't access any images!

Maybe obvious but I'd try it in several different cameras / readers and computers before formatting / binning

I had a corrupt SD card with heaps of holiday pics on...tried everything but in the end they were irretrievable :[
there are ways to get images back that have been deleted...

if your using an SD card reader try plugging the camera up instead, there are some date recovery places too that might help

I'm trying this right now: http://www.photo-recovery-softwa…
...maybe to easy to be true but it seems to be finding files.

might be a dumb question but are you using a mac or pc? a card that doesn't read on a pc may well read ok, or at least well enough to copy off data on a mac.

at worst, data recovery software will jumble the file names and exif data, but you should be able to recover most of your lost data. good luck!

What brand of SD card?

It's my lucky day, the StellarPheonix recovery software works. They show you the pictures and then hit me up for $45 for a license but I'm happy. Thanks qbn'ers

I used this when my compact flash card corrupted.
worked great, got everything back, raw files and jpgs. Tried the deep scan for fun and it got back stuff from 2 formats ago.

You can get back all your pics from your canon after your data is corrupted with the help of Kernel for photo recovery software, check the demo version for the working phenomenon of the software.
