^ that support is governments giving money to Irish banks so that their own national banks get the money they have in Irish banks back.
it's all self interested.
i'm listening to the BBC radio and they are talking about the difference between 'senior' and 'junior' creditors and how they get money back quicker than each other...

Well, it looks like Ireland is in the hand of the ECB, if the ECB want a higher % interest rate then Ireland are fucked, because Ireland are not a large country they do not have allot of negotiation power which does not look good for Ireland. Let hope the ECB go easy on them and give the country a workable interest rate that can be successful for both parties.
