Realistically I don't expect this post to generate an enormous amount of response due to the lack of immediate compensation, but I'm throwing this project description out into the void in the off-chance that there may be a few special people out there who may find this proposal appealing.
First a little background: I am a talented multidisciplinary creative and online strategist who has spent the last 11 years of my life weaving a diverse range of offline media and online interactive applications, services, and brands for the web--including several fortune 500 companies and large agencies. At this point in my life I have decided to leave behind my current post at a prominent performance marketing company, cushy salary, benefits, and a complete relocation package (to the heart of the bay area, no less) in exchange for a grassroots start-up with a shoestring budget. I'm sure most of you with any kind of business sense would use several highly aggressive and profoundly negative adjectives to describe this decision, and in many instances in my past I would have probably agreed with your assessment had I not been the one authoring this post.
This proposal is a shot in the dark and a carries significant risk, though with the right talent I believe the rewards far outweigh the potential consequences of yet another startup falling flat on its face.
I am looking for highly talented people; visionaries, dreamers, artists, methodical thinkers, developers, CSS and JQuery Gurus, and social media experts that are willing to collaboratively take a leap of faith and dedicate themselves to a project of significant size without a guaranteed immediate return--in exchange for the opportunity to help pilot a highly profitable business if success is attained. I am looking for high caliber people who want to be a part of a highly collaborative online team that are willing to take nothing but a lofty ideal and forge it into something monumental--those who want to finally relieve themselves of the 9-5, work on their own time, and pay the price to ultimately live on their own terms.
More abstractly, I am looking for people that desire success so deeply that they are willing to stake their entire future on a single turn of the wheel in order to get it.
The project I'm speaking of is in reality a culmination of several projects. Using the power of social media, smart design, effective marketing, and collaborative strategy between a rock solid team, I am aiming to build a network of web properties, marketplaces, and a series of new services that cater to creative professionals. This includes designers, photographers, digital artists, web developers, UI experts, and all of the areas in-between. Having spent most of my professional career as a creative from all angles and corners of the web, I've been able to observe exactly what sort of solutions are lacking in our field. I have several ideas that I believe to be massively profitable if they are executed in the right way.
I know without a doubt that this post throws several red flags valiantly into the air, and I'm politely asking anyone still reading to look past this. If you are interested in hearing more, joining the team, and potentially conquering the impossible--throw me a line.
Thanks.

"Using the power of social media, smart design, effective marketing, and collaborative strategy between a rock solid team, I am aiming to build a network of web properties, marketplaces, and a series of new services that cater to creative professionals."
So in other words, you have no cohesive or concise product strategy whatsoever.
This reads like you just pasted together a bunch of shit from http://whatthefuckismysocialmedi…

Way too many adjectives, way too little substance.
- Futureprism0
To answer some of you that seem to think there is no substance here, my apologies for interrupting your valuable time.
Despite what you think about my stated ambitions lacking substance, I have indeed put everything I own and care about on the line to work towards this goal. There are pages of business strategy with a projects already near completion. And sure, while I figured a few flames would come along with this post, I am hoping that there are some people who do indeed have interest in working on a large project in the company of motivated people that love design and hope to build significant value in this space.
For those who aren't inclined to throw shit-balls at someone who's given up everything to build something big from quite literally, nothing, please reach out. :)

Hilchev, I have a trusted team. Just looking to expand it.

"More abstractly, I am looking for people that desire success so deeply that they are willing to stake their entire future on a single turn of the wheel in order to get it."
Lets talk numbers and project specifics, not endless buzzwords and rhetoric, professionals (i.e. smart people...) don't work for free, even for lofty goals – that's what interns do.
- NONEIS0
Also, how can a project be of "significant size" without a budget to afford designers and developers? I hate to call out all the extreme errors in logic you put to text one after another, but you're either posting to get a rise, or just plain don't give a shit about the visionaries you seek – there's not a single thing that's "valiant" about that. Go get some finding and come back when you can afford the professionals you seek, you should sleep better at night if the "power of social media, smart design, effective marketing, and collaborative strategy" actually pays off.

These kind of proposals drew some attention in 1996. Sort of.

Futureprism, you make a terrible salesman.
You say you're trying to interest *other* people. Yet you keep focusing on *your* background and beating around the bush about *your* project. You, you, you. Way to convince us.
I have no faith in your business abilities.
- ernexbcn0
is this like Twitter, only better? you need a logo and some pie charts perhaps?

If you are as good as you say you are, raise funding and start a project where you're able to employ people.
This reads a lot like an email I recently received from the supposed son of a Russian billionaire.

... I'm sure Hedge would invest though.
