MBP burn speed problem

  My previous generation 15" mbp has recently started only burning DVD's at 1x no matter what I set roxio to. It used to burn 4x every time. Haven't changed media type or brand.

  Anyone else have an issue like this?

  macs don't have problems and are perfect machines... therefore using "applogic", i have deduced you to be at fault

  never had that issue. maybe the lens is dirty.

  Same drama here. I did a bit of reading and there seemed to be plenty of others out there. Dodgy hardware to start with apparently.
