Saw (at least the first one) had some terrifying moments.
Mulholland Drive for sure.
One of the creepiest:
The Others is another movie that isn't necessarily horrifying, but was very suspenseful and the writing was superb.

It took me years to get over a fear of spiders after watching Arachnophobia as a kid. Sitting on the toilet and taking showers was so scary for so long after.

Probably gonna be a couple people ragin on me but I found The Village to be terrifying from start to finish. Even the many times I've watched it since the first time it still gets me caught up in the atmosphere.
The scene where Joaquin is on the deck at night and there's mist everywhere, and Bryce Dallas Howard is talking to him about being scared. Nothing even happens and it's more of a romantic scene then anything, but it's steeped in terror!
