I just switched over to CS5 recently and it crashes regularly on both Mac and PC. I'm still using the trial version. Has anyone else found this?

it sucks, stick with cs4, which also sucks.

yes.. it blows on a mac.. it crashes LIKE NONSTOP..
On PC i don't have issues.. but I think it's something with fonts on a mac or even with graphics.. I can't pinpoint the problem
- can you send cs5 to me so i can test it on my machine and run some tests for you?SrSamaurai

CS3 use to crash heaps more wqith anything font related, now I'm having crashes whenever I'm working with large bitmaps in CS5

Flash IDE is fucking garbage, I'm convinced no one at Adobe even uses it anymore they just hand code.

Is CS5 64-Bit-Only? And Other Top Questions Answered
http://prodesigntools.com/is-cs5…apparently its only Prem & AE.
- maybe it is an issue, Im running a 64-bit mac pro, everything is super fast and clean. 12 gb ram might help.moldero

Flash IDE is awesome.. on PC. There is something with OSX and Adobe that causes these crashes. It's the fonts, how Snow Leopard renders graphics or some shit like that.
I've heard people and other software companies complaining about this.
As for Flash IDE, there is nothing out there which allows designers who are also coders to create and test flash experience as nicely as in Flash IDE. I can only wish the future and HTML5 has tools like this.

I experienced some pretty horrible bugs on PC with Flash CS4...but that might have been because I had CS4 and CS3 simultaneously installed on the machine I was using.
