As much as I hate to admit this, it's actually pretty good.
Well done, Microsoft.

I agree! did you notice that when you open a link it highlights the page you got the link from (in your tabs) with the same color as the page you opened so you have a visual reference to which links were opened from where

got a beta installed on a VB but not totally played with it.
i dont like the way the back button gets cut off by the page content... looks a bit cluttered. Also the notification boxes at the bottom of the page?
I missed them at first.... but frustrating

One thing I did notice - default search (now incorporated into the URL field like Chrome) was set to Yahoo when I installed it. When you go to options to change it, they give you the choice of Yahoo, Bing, or Ask.com. No Google...
- Odd that the default shold be Yahoo. You would think they would default it to Bing. Unless there's some anti-trust stuff going on there.Continuity
- ... on there.Continuity
- Anti-trust on an optional free download? My guess is they're just currying favour at this, the Beta, stage.detritus
- or.. is it a completely random default - akin to the now dropped brwoser choice install screen in EU Windows?detritus
- Probably that last one. And to be fair, you can add Google, it just takes enough effort that they will probably see a lot of people not do so if they keep it this wayukit
- people not go to the trouble if they keep it this wayukit
- I'm pretty sure it's just the hard-core among us who tweak their browsers to change the default search.Continuity
- MS and goog are at war.monNom

Also supports web open font format. Pretty sweet...

And supports HTML5 Canvas too. It's weird to be able to go to the Chrome experiments page and have it all work in IE.

ukit my default was google search in the address bar when i installed..tho I had my ie8 set to default to google search before installing ie9 so maybe thats why?
