i found a config to improve your fps, it does help a lot, but my pc is too shit anyway. if you have the game give it a try.
some people get the lag some dont. It seems to be rather random.

Please someone help me!
Every time I'm cross paths with someone, they always seem to kill me first... I'm not sure if I take too long to aim, or their gun is doing more damage. I didn't have this problem with MW2, I was always on top there.
In hardcore I always end up with most deaths, and 2/3 are in these situations... what can I do?Is there a link for suggestions for classes for each map? I have a feeling my attachments and perks are not working out.
I have a weekly Tuesday game with the guys from work, and I think it's becoming obvious I am giving away too many points to the other teams every time we lose.
I don't want to be losing any friends because of this game now, but I know people are talking.. I need to get better fast.

haven't read through them but thought id help you with the research.
as for my setup. i go Commando with iron sights and a suppressor (or sometimes dual mag / suppressor with Warlord perk)

i love this gun, very quick reload, fast aiming and it has some considerable stomping power also the recoil is low.i use

http://www.codblackopsblog.com/c…i will use Sleight of Hand, Marathon, Warlord for situational advantages( all pre setup) I have decided not to prestige due to there is no advantage but aesthetics also it tells other players what "level" (and by extension how long you've been playing) you are. less information the better.
look at your stats, its very powerful, they track where you die, where you hit your targets, hits/ misses on each map .. they got hundreds of data points you can access about your game play. use it to learn where your map weak points are. also Learn the Maps and never move along the maps without some cover. .. im sure people are going to add plenty of insights, but this is off the top of my head... good luck & happy hunting.

Try the AK74U with Rapid Fire and Grip, no one stands a chance with that combo. Its insanely good. Minute you come across anyone it just destroys. Defo need the Grip as well to control the sway with Rapid Fire. Secondary try the CZ75 with Rapid Fire. Perks, Scavenger because this class uses up a lot of ammo, Warlord for the two attachments and Ninja. Try it man, its ace!

Ok this is getting even worst.
Freeze is just getting more insane after the update.
I can not finish a single round without game freezing. I tried upping the packet throttle reg but nothing. Same old thing.

hey soulfly - i know this isn't exactly what you asked for, but here's how i roll. probably isn't anything you don't already know but here goes.

get your look sensitivity as high as you can handle.

you have to shoot in short bursts. pretending every gun has a 3 round burst will greatly increase it's accuracy.

in most situations i start shooting before i look down the sights. i can usually put one or two hits on a dude before i really even start aiming.

i like to run around the edges of the map. if your back is to the edge of the map, nobody can sneak up behind you. this will usually yield less kills, but it will keep you alive longer.

speaking of surprise butsecks, look behind you every couple of feet. i probably run backwards around %40 of the time.

don't get mad when you die. it's going to happen. a lot. getting frustrated won't help your game. it only makes is worse.as far as weapons and perks go, my bread and butter is
M16 +acog

slight of hand (pro)

m16 (or m14 [this will drop a dude with one shot to the chest]) + acog + silencer

at first i was having the same problems you were, then i slowed down my play. i guess it was a matter of figuring out what type of gameplay i should be playing, not what i instinctively was doing. i was running and gunning and it just wasn't working out. magicsheep is totally on the ball. hit the edges of the map, move slow, check corners and watch your back.
i switched my guns/perks and it's been working out for me.
primary: ak74 - grip (for better shot accuracy) and rapid fire (more bullets on target faster)
lethal: frag (i like this better than semtex because i can bounce it off of walls to get around corners)
tactical: consussion
equipment: claymore
perk 1: hardline (pro)
perk 2: warlord (pro)
perk 3: hacker (pro). i love this. never again die from a claymore. i can see all claymores, motion sensors (which i'm invisible from), cameras, sams... you name it. and i can hack them all and use them against the enemy. i love this perk.the other set i rock depending:
primary: ak74 (with suppressor)
lethal: frag
tactical: consussion
equipment: motion sensor (this i use with the suppressor to help slow my game and get kills by watching the mini-map)
perk 1: scavenger (pro)
perk 2: slight of hand (pro) never get caught with your pants down. i can't tell you how many gun battles i've won just because i can reload faster than the other guy.
perk 3: hacker (pro)killstreaks. spy plane. care package. attack copter.

stut-stut-stut-stutter. game is 100% unplayable as of 2 days now.
PC i5 dual core. i average about 5 frames per second, and it feels like i'm playing underwater. it was awesome before the update.
