anyone ever thought about just doing a complete 180? everyone has interests outside of their work, so what are they?
i think this probably goes for a lot of "creative" types, but i've always wanted to have collective and just focus on the collective's work. i know, not much security but it sounds like a lot of fun.
is the grass always greener on the other side (cliche, but its gets the point across)?

it helps to have your hands in as many things as possible whether it's music, design, finance, real estate, drug dealing or pimping. better not to have all your eggs in one basket i think.

I had a little bit marketing back ground. that would definitely be my back up plan.
Hair dresser or Hair stylist. Was doing a bit of that when i was out of high school.
Would love to be a Carpenter although i have no clue how to work a power tool.

I want to open a bed and breakfast someday. Less old person-ish wicker furniture, Victorian stuff, and more of a pre-fab, modern architecture type of place meant for younger couples and centered more around dinner than breakfast. On a lake with canoes, kayaks, fishing poles, nice communal fire pit out back and a good library of photo books, travel architecture books, etc. I'd have cross country skiing in the winter, stuff to keep people interested over the cold months. More of a major lifestyle change than just a professional one, but I think about this constantly.

Build, Own and Maintain my own Greenhouse(s). I worked in one for two years after I got out of highschool and the experience has never left me. Was such a truly awesome and inspiring place to work.

I think about this quite often actually. I think it´s in the creative nature - the urge to change stuff and see things from other perspectives. As of now I´m a full time commercial photographer, but I don´t know if I´ll be making photographs for a living for the rest of my life. I love my job though.. Ironic..
I had the opportunity to be a full time musician, but the need of a steady income and dreams of a nice family life made that choice relatively easy. Now it´s just my hobby (with occational tours and studio work), and it gives me a lot of joy when inspiration for photography is low.
The grass may be greener on the other side, but never quit your day job.. ;)

I like to switch a lot, doing one thing gets boring. in order, I went to school for fine arts, then was a club DJ, engineer at a recording studio, UI designer at a software company, switched to programmer for same software company, engineer at another studio, production at a radio station, network/server IT at a museum, writer for an edu non-profit, now freelance designer and programmer and bored with it again, trying to get into music for film and television now and help manage a record label. eventually I'll either harvest coconuts on a tropical island or work with my brother-in-law who designs and builds energy efficient homes.

I've contemplated getting into landscape design. I can still create, but have a chance to be outside more and enjoy nature and natural elements. I am at it endlessly on our property, but I fear, like always, when you do what you love for a living, you often kill it.

I was a fitter and turner before I learned computers.
Before that, I was an apprentice builder.
I'm still keen on restoring old motorcycles.
This is an example of a short sharp sentences.
