Amazon screwed up my initial order and then a replacement shipment got screwed up also. Now today is the 6th and my 1 year apple warranty expired.
What kind of damages do I request from amazon?

NO. I bought my laptop a year ago. Only ordered apple care a week ago. Now because amazon screwed shipping I am out of warranty. And apple care from them is useless now.

Question now is, what do I do? Should I tell amazon they owe me a laptop. LOL
- It's not the end of the world... tell Amazon you'd like to able to apply your plan from the date of purchase.********
- *be able********
- Well I already asked them, it's not up to them its up to apple.insomnie
- If you can prove you bought it a reasonable amount of time before expiry, they'll be fine.********

Just show proof that you purchased the applecare before your 1 year was up. I didnt register mine till like a month after my year was up and all i had to do was send them proof of purchase. But i bought directly from apple. Got the educational discount tho
- That might be it. Apple told me if i bought apple care from them I would be ok.insomnie
- phone again - speak to someone else .. stress it was the fault of your supplier.********

Seems straight forward to me: You bought the warranty. You have proof of purchase. Amazon's f*ck up delayed its arrival. Were you speaking to some customer service intern at Apple? Call back and escalate it (meaning - request to speak to an adult).
What the hell does it matter from where you purchased it? Unless the $40 discount = "Apple won't take this purchase seriously at all"

You waited for the last minute, tried to save some $ by risking this sort of situation, Amazon is powerless to fix the problem because of an Apple policy and Apple won't play nice with you but SOMEHOW this is Amazon's fault?
