The encore from last night. Anyone have the main set?

I am liking this more and more with each new listen. I think part of the reason is that Neon Bible was so succinct and epic that there was a major precedent in place for this album to really deliver or to fall completely flat on its face.
I am really digging the mid-section and into the end.

That show... was amazing. Watched it live, and watched the replay immediately after. I saw them on their first Canadian tour and haven't stopped seeing them live since - never disappointing!

I got it the other day and have given it a good handful to listens.
At this point I honestly think it's pretty great. It's definitely Arcade Fire, but they are still showing us something new and evolving as artists and musicians.
Someone mentioned it earlier in the thread, but my favorite thing about the band is the epic soundscapes they create and the associated imagery that they are capable of producing, both with their music and their lyrics. To me none of that is lacking in this record.
I think I'm starting to sound like a Pitchfork douche so I'll stop now, but yeah, it's good.

I like how the show their various influences and yet still make it their own. While listening to 'Month of May' I kept thinking 'what does that sound like?' and then it hit me: Neil Young around the time of Rust Never Sleeps. And for Half Life I the same thing happened: 70s John Lennon. And of course there is Talking Heads and Springsteen and other but - all Arcade Fire in the end. and great.

Really liking this new album. Missed them at Lollapalooza but downloaded the album Sunday. I like it much better than Neon Bible, and it's much different from Funeral but very cool in a stripped down way.
We Used to Wait is definitely a favorite. The bass tone is really great on this song.

Karma's a Bitch!
Just got an email from the wife saying she wants to go see them on our anniversary night. I guess I've dragged her to see TOOL and Murder City Devils so I guess I'm due to see one of her bands.
