I'm doing a cross country drive and stopping off in Chicago on a deep dish pizza mission.
What's the bomb spot?
I'm literally cutting through town just for the pizza so nothing that takes a couple hours to get served or puts me too far off I90.

I went to Gino's, waited an hour for them to bake said pizza in image above, and was wholeheartedly underwhelmed and disappointed with deep dish pizza. It's like a soup with a crust under it filled with uncooked, limp vegetables and grease. I'll stick with real pizza, thank you.

When toppings and cheese go UNDER the tomato sauce (soup, in deep dish pizza), it's a bad thing. There's no excuse.

Chicago style hot dogs are awesome too. I *think* I went to a place called Top Dawg when I visited. I still crave it.

If you've ever BEEN to the place, you'll know why I did this. Every surface imaginable is drawn and carved on. Every seat, booth, wall, staircase, everything. They encourage it. Don't peg me as an asshole...it's how things are done there.
