Need to extract the background from people playing football very quickly, whats the best way to do it in photshop CS4?

It's now an optional plugin that you have to download. Silly I know.

Can't you just make a selection and refine it?
- Maybe I'm not following. I never had a use for the Extract function in Photoshop before.monospaced

Yeah, but use the Pen tool to make the selection, so you can come back and edit it after if needed.
