trying to get into shakes/smoothies, not just for treating myself. Also to make some good health cleanse drinks with veggies and stuff. My blender now sucks at chopping the ice well. Leaves me with odd chunks here and there.
You guys recommend something to get a nice smooth texture. no lumps.

man, after vegging out one night on cheesy infomericals, my fiance actually ordered the magic bullet. i gave her so much shit for it (she actually thought we may use it the way it was advertised).
well, i have to eat my words every morning when i wake up and make a smoothie now. granted, all we use it for are smoothies...but regardless, the thing rocks. throw in some berries, milk, a banana, and whatever supplements you want and it blends everything perfectly.
if all you're going to use it for are smoothies it kinda rocks. plus you get a handful of cups that you can just toss in the dishwasher (so you don't have to clean the blender out after each use).

Counter space is an issue of course. DAM what to get. I think I'll go with one of these cause I also need something that can food process.
