stay hydrated in the summer and make sure your car's air conditioning works

Get used to long car rides and I second the car's air conditioning.

Plano isn't bad (I live just north). If she's working in Plano she can live downtown and have a a pretty easy commute.

Plano Texas is a huge suburb of Dallas its hard to tell where North Dallas ends and Plano begins- as well as where Frisco starts and stops- Lots of Corporations reside in Plano and well as lots of shops/malls/ places to eat- as far as guns- I think you need one anywhere you live- as far as heat- its FUCKING HOT- there's Lakes and for the most part everyone is pretty right on- I live in Flori-DUH and would gladly move back tomorrow- enjoy

Plano is a pretentious crap hole.

if you ever see a car with a bumper sticker that says "Why Plano?", that was the work of a friend and i. it's soccermom-ville, and is lined with strip malls, corporate chain restaraunts, and office parks. work there, but don't live there.

At all costs, stay away from this gun nut!
AUSTIN, Texas – Pistol-packing Texas Gov. Rick Perry has a message for wily coyotes out there: Don't mess with my dog.

Yeah, I'd definitely say the best advice would be to move to Austin. It's the only place I'd live in Texas. And I actually do.

Visit Mexico while still in the U.S , go to El Paso

Driving around Dallas & Houston remind me of old cartoons where they repeated the same bkg wallpaper pattern to imply motion...but instead it's McDonalds, Bed Bath & Beyond and Starbucks.

gernericland like this is what I see most suburbs outside of major cities.... or even minor cities... hopefully there's a train or highway nearby to get downtown or to a real countryside....
